Modernist Triangle Panel Necklace by Al Joe

A modernist style sterling silver panel necklace with a high-grade natural turquoise stone made by Al Joe (b.1950-,Navajo). An oval dot-dash chain with hook & eye clasp attached to three triangular sand-cast panels. Two mirror-image panels connecting to a diamond-shaped center panel holding a single turquoise stone set into a shadowbox. Each panel contains an intricate mix of design work, sand-cast texture, stamping, filing. Piece has great early patina showing on all panels. Circa 2000, during Al's peak award-winning period. Hallmarked AJ and STERLING on the back of the center panel.
