Heavy Stamped Shaped Cuff (HSSC) by Thomas Jim

Very fine and rare example of a Thomas Jim (b.1955- , Navajo) heavy cuff in a large wrist size. The piece combines a scalloped edge front profile and terminals connected by two sunburst side sections. Weighing a substantial 116+ grams at 5/8 wide. A bi-directional sunrise stamp pattern runs through the center line end-to-end. Hallmarked "TJim" and Sterling. The cuff reads as substantial on the wrist at 1/8 thickness, absolutely fantastic presentation in-person. Connecting the Rocking Horse Ranch lineage, a very similar cuff to this one is pictured in Schaff's "American Indian Jewelry" p.127 by Thomas Curtis (Courtsesy of McGees Indian Art, Keams Canyon, AZ)
